I will confess - I'm not an Adwords aficionado because I lack the patience to find the hidden goodies one can advertise on Google.
But that's just me, so certainly you should consider it!
Ever see all those `Ads by Google' (ie, Adsense)? Ever wonder what's being displayed in those ads?
Those ads are the complement "Adwords" - ie, the products/services/etc. people pay for Adsense publishers to displayed on their site.
Thus, let's say that you uncovered an affiliate product about raising happy children that nobody else really knew about. that was paying a reasonable commission for all sales.
You could pay a small amount of money to show up on the first page of Google results in the Ads column.and ideally drive traffic that would buy the product to that site (via your affiliate link).

You can search for affiliate products with high payouts from, say, Clickbank.com. Think they're only for Internet marketing? Oh no oh no, they're also for health, dieting, fitness, wellness, raising kids, studying and much much more.
