To be honest, not that interested either. I had spent a small fortune buying various web development tools - so why bother testing yet another way of creating a web site?.

But curiosity got the better of me.

I couldn't really see how a blog (a web diary system) could be used to build sites - but anything described as 'perfect' by Allen Says - marketing genius, author, and founder of the best marketing forum on the web - is definitely worth looking at.

I quickly installed WordPress (unbelievable - in less than 5 minutes). Downloaded a few themes ( the colours and format of the site). Tried out several plug-ins (to add more functionality to the basic program).

And I knew I was in trouble. Actually, the web development part of my business was in trouble.

But then I thought of the possibilities! How much time I saved. How quickly I could create new cash-generating sites. At a fraction of the cost of any other alternative ...

And with a little fiddling, I could make blogs look exactly like niche sites: Not Your Average Blog ...
