It never ceases to amaze me. There are folks who make their money honestly on the Internet who then teach others to do so, like me. Just about all of my products are based upon my own actual experiences…and I’ll then write up my findings and my how-tos, add them to my resources and libraries and continue on my merry way. I’m not unique in this fashion - there are lots of folks out there who strive to teach what they’ve learned as well.
Then there are folks who try to sell their products with an earnings statement like the below.

Two things you should notice about these earnings. One, the person uses a capital “Z” in place of a “2″ in several spots. And two, the number for Mar 31 smaller than the number for Mar 28…but the bar appears longer for the second date.
Trust me, Clickbank would never make these mistakes.
It’s obvious the above picture had been doctored up.
While certainly, it’s wonderful to witness what other people earned…as you can see from the above, it’s easier than walking face-first into a wall with your eyes closed to fake supposed income.
Other things to watch for when scrutinizing income statements are:
- Colors - Are the colors consistent with the reporting site?
- Smooshing - Are any of the words smooshed over to make room for bogus earnings?
- Ragged/pixelated edges - Not everyone can use Photoshop to create seamless inclusions. Sometimes it’s quite noticable if something has been cut and pasted in.
- Consistency - If one days’ earnings is 4K, and the next is 3.9K, the second bar should be shorter than the first.
Don’t fall prey to hype! Hype is good to get your emotions going and your adrenelin pumping…but always do your research when considering what to buy on the Internet. Your pocketbook will thank you.
