If you plan on either:
Selling your own product
Recommending others’ products
Dabbling in affiliate marketing
You should really have a clickbank account.
Clickbank is an affiliate management system where 10s of thousands of folk advertise their digital products.
Quite often, you’ll see the authors of the above products offer affiliate commissions like 50%! That means if you advertise such a product, and someone buys from your affiliate link, you’ll make 50% (minus CB fees) of the purchase price.
Once you have a Clickbank ID, you could visit their Marketplace and look for products you’d like to recommend.
Let’s say that you have an insane urge to recommend Burn the Fat at http://www.burnthefat.com . Their vendor ID is `burnthefat’.
My CB login is `richhermit’.
Thus, my link to promote that product would be http://richhermit.burnthefat.hop.clickbank.net .
Your link for that product would replace `richhermit’ with your CB ID.
That link would be what you’d use to recommend it.
See?
Thus, your first step is to get a Clickbank ID .
Then you’d visit their marketplace and search for products you want to promote.
You’ll see their links look like:
2) Sit Stay Fetch - High Conversion Rate! [ earn 75.0 % ]
Earn Up To $44 Per Sale Selling SitStayFetch: Stop Your Dog’s Behavior Problems! See Affiliates Area For Tips!
PAYOUT STATS: $earned/sale: $ 25.57 , %earned/sale: 75.0 %, %referred: 80.0 %, gravity: 125.91
Notice that [ earn 75.% ] link? You’d click on that from your browser, enter your CB ID, and get your own customized affiliate link.
You could then use that link to promote the program.and if anyone bought thru it, you’d get the commission.
Definitely get a free account at Clickbank. You’ll be using it.
You might also consider getting a free account at Pay Dot Com as well. Some vendors use that service too.
Enjoy!
