One of the most valuable aspects of parenting is knowing when to turn on a dime.
My original idea for Runescape-based project planning went about as precise as a comatose walrus. They still do love playing it, and they are now keeping track of their levels, but project management? I scoff in your general direction!
That’s not to say that I’ve given up on it totally, of course. I did create a rather nifty Runescape journal over at my site. My kids are now using that for their own endeavors.
Additionally, we’ve managed to go swimming every day and visit the library twice a week, not to mention stay abreast of math skills as well. Thus, so far things are going rather well.
Parenting. It’s not for the faint of heart.
See?
